What is Art Therapy?

A creative way to explore, express, and understand

Art therapy is a supported process that uses creative expression to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences. It’s not about being good at art—it’s about what the process can reveal. Through drawing, painting, sculpture or other materials, you can express things that might be hard to put into words and gain new insight into yourself.

Meet Lexi

Registed Art Therapist AThR (she/her)

Hi, I’m Lexi—a qualified art therapist and founder of FLUX. I’m passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where people can explore, reflect, and reconnect through creativity.

My approach is person-centred, trauma-informed, and grounded in respect, curiosity, and care. I believe art can offer a different way of understanding ourselves—especially when words fall short.
